The good reasons we still hold on to superstition’s its easy to explain because of the faulty activity in our brain. It could be cause by the right hemisphere of our brain which is responsible for our visual processing. When you stare at your own reflection in half lit room it cause your brain to picture a skull, old hags, or a hideous animals. Your brain is just trying to fill in a missing piece or information. Religion have a belief that the paranormal could be a shield from the harsh truth of the world.

Believe it or not, even when dealing with the mysterious realm of ghosts, aliens and creatures, there are some things we can fairly confidently label as false. So, to clear up some incorrect assumptions about the unexplained, let’s take a look at the Top 10 Paranormal Myths.

- 1) Paranormal facts exist: Paranormal means anything beyond the scientific explanation. Researcher’s and scientists have used the scientific method but, paranormal facts don’t exist just yet.
- 2) Ghosts only come out at night: Actually ghosts can come out at night and during the day. But, it would be more effective to find a ghost during the day because that’s when they were most alive.
- 3) No physical evidence of Bigfoot: There’s a little bit of evidence like hair, blood, tissue, tracks, and feces. But, there’s still no bodies yet.
- 4) Only old building are haunted: It can also be caused by the ground the new building is established. Not necessarily just death on the property it could be by objects and people themselves.
- 5) America’s paranormal fascination is new: It peaked people’s interest in the U.S. in the mid – 19th centuries and early 20th centuries. It’s because communicating with spirit world was a positive thing.
- 6) Alien are little green men in flying saucers: “The Grey ” are archetypes when there’s an alien encounter like The Roswell Incident. UFOs are flying crescents, cigar- shaped, triangular ships and a V-shaped craft.
- 7) No one still believes in vampires: They are still very much alive in various parts of the world. There are active groups in New Orleans and New York City.
- 8) Modern zombies are supernatural: The word zombies has been used for over a century. Before 1968, it was for soulless slaves created by Haitian voodoo magic. After 1968, the meaning of zombies changed to lifeless human corpse caused by biological infection. The reason zombies meaning changed it was because of The Night of the Living Dead.
- 9) Skeptics and believers don’t get along: Skeptics are involved with a paranormal community. If something can’t disproven believers believe they are closer to a possibly of a real experience.
- 10) The paranormal is bad for business: even though its unexplained its actually a good business. “The business world is a big believer in the paranormal.” There are so many paranormal tourism for travelers across the U.S.

What is a ghost? A ghost is known as a specter. It’s based off ancient idea that the persons spirit exists after it separated from our body. When was the first sighting of ghost? Well, the first sighting of ghost began in the first century A.D. in the Roman Empire era from the great Roman author and stateman Pliny the younger. Then, in the 16th century King Henry VII and Queen Elizabeth I were first sighted in the Tower of England where they were executed. In the late 19th century, Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln were sighted in the white house. Why are some places haunted? But, they are caused by dramatic or grisly event that occurred in the past.
