The Moon Goddess ~ China
Chang-O (or Chang’e), the Chinese goddess of the moon, is the subject of several legends in Chinese mythology. The moon goddess myth revolves around Hou Yi the archer, the elixir of life, a benevolent emperor, and the moon.

The Moon Goddess is one of the most popular and interesting story about Chang-o it takes you to the past life where there is 10 sons of the Jade Emperor that were transformed in 10 suns. But, the 10 suns went to haven and scorcher the earth threatening mankind’s survival and there was an archer that was named archer Yi that shot nine out of the ten suns. Yi was rewarded with elixir of immortality until, one day he went out hunting Feng Meng (his apprentice) broke into his house to get the elixir from Yi’s wife Chang’e. She refused to giving him the elixir so she drank it; as she was consuming it she was start become weightless. So, she started to fly upwards toward the havens until she stayed on the moon for refuged.

One day, when Teke Teke was at the train station her friends decided to put a cicada (which is a bug that only appears in the summer in Japan) on her shoulder. But, it was a fatal prank because the Teke Teke got so scared that she fell of the platform and got ran over by the shinkansen (the fastest train in Japan) where she was split into two. Now, she still haunts the train station where she died by dragging her with her elbows and sometimes her hand, she kills her victims the same way she died split in half and fast like the shinkansen. Teke Teke is also called Bata Bata because of the noise that she makes when she is dragging herself around the train station.

Berberoka ~ Philippines

The Berberoka is founded in remote areas like Abra, Apayao and Ilocos Norte, this is a freshwater ogre uses deceptive tactics to catch its prey. It’ll suck up all of the water from swamps or lakes until the school of fishes are noticeable on the surface. The Berberoka victims are usually fisherman and they will lured them into a evil trap and they’ll drowned and eat the fisherman with the same water they sucked up.
